The next version of the ECMPS Client Tool is scheduled to be released on September 13, 2017. The release will include bug fixes and other updates.

The currently planned changes to data checks used by the ECMPS Client Tool are shown in the list below.

Prior to the release, the EPA Host System will be unavailable starting around 4:00 p.m. ET on September 8th until the release is completed on September 13th.



  • DAYCAL-27, HOURGEN-1, HOURGEN-25: Update PGVP checks to ensure that the Cylinder ID field only contains capitalized alphanumeric characters
  • EMGEN-11: Update check to allow generation of Non-Operating reporting period files for OS-only reporters
  • HOURAD-24, HOURAD-37, HOUROP-3, HOUROP-44: Update checks to require/ allow Load Range reporting when SO2 or CO2 Hourly Parameter Fuel Flow are reported
  • HOURGEN-19, MATSGFM-1-B, MATSGFM-2-E, MATSHOD-16, MATSMHV-1, MATSMHV-4, MATSMHV-6, MATSTRN-1, MATSTRN-16, MATSTRN-17, MATSTRP-6, MATSTRP-7: Update checks to use GFM counts for border traps that started in the previous quarter.
  • HOUROP-44: Update check to allow locations to correctly leave Load Range null in certain situations
  • LME-10, LME-32, LME-33, LME-34, LME-35, LME-36, LME-37, LME-38: Update LME Generate Emissions Data functionality to correctly calculate Year-To-Date values when location switches to LME reporting mid-year
  • Update LME Generate Emissions Data functionality to include NOXR Reporting Period and Year-To-Date values in all appropriate instances
  • MATSCHV-1, MATSCHV-2, MATSCHV-3, MATSCHV-4, MATSCHV-5, MATSCHV-6, MATSCHV-7, MATSCHV-8, MATSCHV-14, MATSCHV-15, MATSCHV-20: Add reported vs calculated checking of MATS rate values to be within 5% difference.
  • MATSHOD-16: Update check to correctly handle sorbent traps that cross quarter boundaries
  • MATSHOD-16: Update check to ensure GFM data is allowed but not required during transition hours
  • METHOD-25: Update check to verify that locations with Sorbent Trap Method records also have Sorbent Trap Systems
  • METHOD-33: Update check to require LMES qualification records for SIPNOX LME units
  • ONOFF-26D: Update check to ensure that the High level reference signal for a flow component is between 50% and 70% of the span value
  • RATA-37: Update check to reflect MATS Technical Corrections updates made to the alternate performance specifications for Hg RATA's
