I see that this new version, to be release March 8th, states that the client tool will now use SQL Server 2014. Reviewing the release notes, installation instructions, and system requirements I find that all of them are for previous releases.

I'm wondering what changes are necessary to accommodate "SQL Server 2014". Will I need to install additional supporting software? Drivers? .NET? Will the client tool now "support" SQL 2014 or "require" it?

March 8th is only three weeks away and I need to understand what response/support I need to provide to my client to be able to install and run the updated ECMPS Client Tool.
