The EPA Host System will be Unavailable December 4-5 and December 9, 2020

As was noted previously, the EPA Host System will be unavailable in order to prepare for the release of the next version of the ECMPS Client Tool.

Prior to the release, the EPA Host System will be unavailable starting around 5:00 p.m. ET on Friday, December 4th until the afternoon of Saturday, December 5th, and again the morning of December 9th until the release is completed later that day. At that time, users will be able to connect to the EPA Host System.

While the EPA Host System is unavailable, the following functionality is not available in the Client Tool: synchronize, retrieve, and submit. During that time, users can only work with the Client Tool "offline".

On December 9, 2020, at 1 PM ET, EPA will host a DAHS Vendor and ECMPS software development webinar. The purpose of this meeting will be to inform DAHS vendors about fourth quarter ECMPS software changes, and provide an update on the reengineering timeline and ways to provide feedback to EPA. If you attended the September 8, 2020 webinar you should have already received a meeting invitation. If you did not, and you or your company are interested in attending, please send an email to worley.christopher@epa.gov to receive details on how to attend this meeting.

On December 9, 2020 at 2 PM ET, EPA will host a one-hour ECMPS stakeholder update meeting to discuss plans for the redevelopment of ECMPS. EPA is redeveloping ECMPS to eliminate software installations, reduce reporting burden, improve efficiency, and provide new features and functionality. During the call, EPA will provide an overview of fourth quarter ECMPS software changes, provide an update on the reengineering timeline, and answer your questions. This meeting is intended for general ECMPS users. Call in details are:

The next version of the ECMPS Client Tool is scheduled to be released on December 9, 2020. The currently planned changes are shown in the list below. 

Prior to the release, the EPA Host System will be unavailable starting around 5:00 p.m. ET on Friday, December 4th until mid-afternoon on Saturday, December 5th, and again the morning of December 9th until the release is completed later that day. At that time, users will be able to connect to the EPA Host System. 

Check Changes 

  • HOURMHV-15; MATSMHV-9: Fixed a bug that restricted the use of Like-Kind analyzers to MODC 17. 
  • HOURMHV-15; HOURMHV-40: Updated checks to better handle daily quality assurance activities at Flow systems with multiple monitors.  
  • HOUROP-54: Added check to ensure linearity checks and three-level system integrity checks are performed during online hours.
