ECMPS Support

As usual, an ECMPS Client Tool update is scheduled to occur in the month prior to a reporting month. The 2011 Q1 software update is scheduled to be released on March 9, 2011. At that time, the latest version of the Client Tool--the 2011 Q1 version--will be made available.

In order to complete the deployment of the latest version of the Client Tool, the EPA Host System will be unavailable from March 2nd through March 9th when the new version is released. During that time, users will only be able to use the Client Tool "offline".

The 2011 Q1 Release of the Client Tool is scheduled to take place on March 9, 2011.

With this new release, the Client Tool will require Microsoft .NET 4.0 to be installed. This is an upgrade from the current required version of .NET 3.5.

In order to prepare for this, users are encouraged to install Microsoft .NET 4.0 prior to either installing the Client Tool or updating the Client Tool through the updater functionality. Users who are not able to install the software due to computer rights, should contact their IT departments in order to begin the process of having Microsoft .NET 4.0 installed on their computers.
