ECMPS Technical Support Help Desk closed on Memorial Day

World War Two MemorialIn observance of Memorial Day, the ECMPS Technical Support Help Desk will be closed on Monday, May 31st. Technical support will be available again on Tuesday, June 1st.


The ECMPS Technical Support Help Desk will also be closed on the following upcoming holidays:
  • Independence Day (Observed) - Monday, July 5, 2010
  • Labor Day - Monday, September 6, 2010
  • Veterans' Day - Thursday, November 11, 2009

EPA Host System Will be Unavailable June 2-9, 2010

Umbrellas on the BeachUpcoming Software Update scheduled for June 9, 2010

As usual, an ECMPS Client Tool update is scheduled to occur in the month prior to a reporting month. Prior to the July reporting month for second quarter data, the software update is scheduled to be released on June 9th. At that time, the latest version of the Client Tool--the 2010Q2 version--will be made available.

In order to upgrade to the new version, users will be able to use the update feature in the Client Tool, or if the Client Tool is being installed on a computer for the first time, the new version can downloaded from the ECMPS Support Website and installed.

In order to complete the deployment of the latest version of the Client Tool, the EPA Host System will be unavailable from June 2nd until June 9th when the new version is released. During that time, users will only be able to use the Client Tool "offline".

EPA Host System Unavailable on Saturday, May 22, 2010

Closed signDue to a planned outage, the EPA Host System will be unavailable on Saturday, May 22, 2010 from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. During this time, Client Tool users must use the Client Tool "offline". Note, this outage will also affect access to the CAMD Business System (CBS).

Planned Telephone Outage Scheduled for May 14-15, 2010

No phone accessThis coming weekend, ECMPS Technical Support will be upgraded to a new telephone system.

The work to put in the new telephone system will begin at 5:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, May 14th. The work should be completed on Saturday, May 15th.

During the maintenance period, calls to the technical support telephone number will receive a busy signal.

After May 15th, any problems with the technical support phone number should be reported to technical support using the email address.

Access to the EPA Host System Has Been Restored

As of Saturday, May 1, 2010, access to the EPA Host System has been restored. Users should be able to use the Client Tool and the CAMD Business System as normal.
